Deal thread URL: [Sale] - Alienware Gaming Laptop | Laptops
Buyer: @KillerW0g
Seller: @paulmayor
Description of bad deal:
Good morning,
I will list the series of events to make it as easy as possible to follow.
I purchased a laptop from @paulmayor , as per the ad it was an Alienware 13 R2, had the original charger, 512gb SSD, as per communication with him, had never been opened and was in great condition.
The seller has a 100% rating and this was my first time using the site, i gave into his demands and paid him the money prior to him sending the laptop.
The laptop arrived, immediately i noticed it had a replacement charger. upon further unpacking i noticed screws missing in the laptop and a piece chassis was broken out.
turning the laptop on to further inspect it, the laptop did not have a SSD, rather a 500gb HDD.
i raised these points with him and he offered me a refund.
i sent back the laptop as he assured me i will receive my money after he has the laptop returned and can confirm i did not tamper with it. i agreed as i have no rating having never bought on the site before i had no leg to stand on.
all this happened in July 2019, since i have received a tiny portion of the money back and re recently stopped responding to me altogether.
at this point my best option was a bad deals thread as recommended by @Toxxyc and by @ViVceptioN
