Unifi USG/Dream Machine Configuration

Hi Guys,

Do we have any Unifi guru's on the forum?

I recently bought a Unifi Dream Machine which is blocking certain Apps (Discovery, Woolies etc.) from connecting to the internet.

I suspect that it may be the firewall and need some guidance as to how to configure it in order to resolve this issue.

Is it only apps that use HTTPS connections?

Where are these Apps running? And what don't they do?

Likely you are doing some kind of https proxy that is breaking their certificates, but I haven't specifically configured a USG for that so not even sure if it's a feature but I would expect it to be in there somewhere.

Hi,

These are Apps on iOS which aren't able to connect.

As an example the Discovery Bank App would launch, I would log in and afterwards it would become unresponsive. Does the same with the Discovery App and Woolworths App.
