Like I said, works like a dream. Mounting on a pole or straight onto a wall is easy peasy. I got a -60dbi signal with -101 noise to the tower which is 3km away (and that is without proper alignment which I couldn't do because I didn't have the login password to the tower).

Basically before I signed up with my WISP I asked them if the Nanobeam M5-16 would work and they said "yeah sure, no problem".
After I installed it I called them again to sign up and when they realized I already had everything set up they quickly changed their tune and had to "ask the boss" for permission for me to use my own antenna which was denied.
Ended up having to pay them to come out and install their own antenna. I guess they know that people don't have any other options to get internet here since Telkom decided to stop servicing the area and are taking advantage.

So yeah, make sure that your local WISP allows customers to use their own antenna before buying :p
