Any fresh news about the new Ryzen setup?

Depending on the performance, I might move to Ryzen. Still licking my wounds from the FX-8350 from years ago.
Not much.
AMD apparently met with partners during the past week.
We might get some info on 27 May at Computex.

The latest news from TechRadar shows a bit lower pricing on the CPU's but nothing is confirmed yet hopefully the Computex spotlight from AMD will shed light on release dates and accurate pricing.
AMD Ryzen 3rd Generation release date, news and rumors

They also want to release the new 7nm Navi GPU's which with the Radeon VII competing with the RTX 2080 it is only logical that the new GPU's will be aimed at budget performance replacing the RX 500 series. No news on specs and pricing that I can find.

Only recent news was a msi custom support rep screwing up by telling a client that x370 won't be compatible with the new chips. MSI quickly responded.

MSI Issues Clarification on Next-Gen AMD CPU Support on 300-series Motherboards
Just to point out : " Below is a full list of upcoming BIOS versions which include compatibility for the next-gen AMD APUs for our 300-Series and 400-Series AM4 motherboards " - Only applies to APUs specifically otherwise they would have said Ryzen CPUs.

It feels like forever until the Computex announcement still i need confirmed specs and prices xD

I know rumours are usually something to ignore, but if there is any reality to these, team blue is in deep shit.

1. 16 core R9 ES spotted running at 4.2
2. 12 core R7 ES leaked to achieve 5 (not specified all core)
3. Threadripper 3000 removed from roadmap (possibly due to the above)

That 12 core could become the new value king, the ultimate allrounder.

I think its 16 days left +- until we know for a fact.

Cant wait. Another one came out recently which said that the new 10 core intel mainstream sku needs a new platform. Could be due to power draw as my 6950x is rated at 140w and gets nowhere close to that under load (software reported 230w).

BioStar has leaked their 570x board. PCIE 4, memory support 4000mhz. Interesting they are using an active fan to cool the chipset.

Dr. Lisa has announced a Q3 launch. So guess july is the month.

Also seems the active fan is going to be a thing for the 570x mobo's.
Buildzoid says from his info the chipset is getting too hot under certain circumstances without an active fan.

Colourfull also has an active fan.

3700X and 3850X showing 5.0 and 5.1GHZ boost.

No way in hell that's all core.

Another one to fuel the hype train: 16C spotted at 4.2 all core scoring 4278 in CB15 (this is allegedly the non-X 16C).

Choo-choo

Hoping we see more Aorus AM4 locally,Gaming 7 X470 was a really nice board but we only got the Gaming 5 and the Ultra.
