I want to get a GPS tracker for my pet to put on it collar. I dont know what will work or what to get. any help please.

Thanks

Tracking my cats with simething like this will be SUPER interesting. HAHA. I think they party A LOT!

If you wanna make real money, I recommend getting a necklace cam for cats with GPS (or something like that). And post some awesome video clips to social media. Tbh, I love watching cats cam videos in TikTok, they are fun to watch

those dont work if they get out of bluetooth range no?
These, alongside the Samsung Smart tags use other phones/devices to ping their location from. I have a Samsung Smart tag 2 for my cat, it's aight. Features like ringing it remotely or even doing the "directional" search do not work when you are out of bluetooth range but as mentioned above, it will ping its location from any Samsung device near it. (also, don't get a Samsung tag if you don't have a Samsung phone, it is a very locked ecosystem unless you go with the uTag app, but janky)

As @carbonfire mentioned, they ping off of any other iPhone close by, not just your own, effectively a mesh network. They work well enough for basic tracking. Worth a shot to try given the price versus an actual tracker - can always return it or use it for something else if it doesn't suite your needs.
