Hey guys, this is a discussion thread for all things Scum, ive been wathcing some vids and streams on this and its look pretty cool and the char customization looks amazing!

What you are yous thoughts on the game and will you be buying from the get go?

I have only briefly looked at it and it looks good apart from the major desync issues, will there be any local servers or not?

I dont think there will be local servers LOL, we always get blessed with having to login EU servers etc xD

Well they are not running azure so i see no reason why we wont be able to get local servers

I see there are websites that you can rent from but none with SA servers yet but def looks like we could rent local

I am over zombies, it's just another idea that the game creators saturated into oblivion.

Apparently there are a few zombies however its more robots and drones as you are all prisoners and they have put you on a island to fight and survive basically, so more mechs that come after you then zombies from what I have seen
Just my 2c from watching a stream for a few hours

I'm excited as a girl going to prom (is that a thing)?
Will buy as soon as I can and dl tonight.
Maybe just overhyped but I don't care, not a million bucks which is why I like it.

They have AI ( robot stuff to control the prison colony ) and Puppets - kinda like zombies but not. The videos i've seen focus more on a co-op approach to survive and your stats you choose when creating your character actually matter ... make a fat dude and he gets tired quick. ... eat too much as a skinny guy and your character becomes fatter and slower

with the added stuff of pvp - dunno why but this kinda reminds me of Exile in a bit ...

It disturbs me that entry into Early Access, which is in effect nothing better than a beta, or in some cases an alpha, and in some even worse cases just a lame ass excuse for getting money for a half finished game is being labelled as "coming out" or "release" or "go-live".

Netherlands is actually busy outlawing Early Access which I am in favour of, or rather any Early Access game that has a price attached. You will not be able to charge for software there that does not have an official release date. Demos, betas, alphas, early access, does not count, as fundamental code changes are allowed and you could end up with a different experience than what you paid for upfront.
