Historic European Martial Arts (HEMA) aka sparing with (plastic or blunt metal) arming swords, basket swords, long swords, sabres, rapiers, ect.

I know the equipment is hard to get as it needs to be shipped down here which is partially why I ask.
(Mask, Gloves and a nylon sword is minimal equipment)

I've heard of groups and clubs in Gauteng and Free State side, not much here in Cape Town though.

Personally, I'm a casual at it, teach it a bit, lots I still need to learn and I spar with a friend and my boss every now and then.

Know of one that was going a few years ago in Randburg.

Hellish Quart on Steam had some news the other day about licensed Red Dragon & Spes HEMA gear for their game, which is where I kinda first heard about it, looks cool, would love to try it.
