FYI playback is not indicative of the actual occurrence, I've spectated people who look like they are shooting 5-6cm away. I think its just the lag the servers inherently have. or our shitty ping.

Feeling this issue right now.

SO basically when you running on your screen you are in one spot, but on the server you are actually 2 steps behind that spot. They do this to "fix" the ping discrepancy I believe.
But on their screen they are actually hitting your "ghost" which is your real location on the server.

So technically they see you turn a corner a split second before you see them. I often get shot when iv already turned the corner. My ghost got shot.

Nope thats just the bad ping reason.

The other reason for me is, looting quietly for 20mins with no action then running in the open and BAM! headshot from 10km away..... Waste of 20min. But thats how the cookie crumbles. Still enjoyable

Alot of games are trying to manipulate battle royale style modes into their plays sometimes a hit other times a miss I suppose

I think its just the lag the servers inherently have. or our shitty ping.

For a game that has made $700 million in a year that shit should have been fixed ages ago.

Both Fortnite and Ring of Elysium are free games and neither suffer from it nearly as badly as this. And Ring of Elysium was on Thailand servers with a ping between 300 - 400MS.

Their "FIX PUBG" campaign is a little too late for me. Personally I hope it will fail with Black Ops 4 and Fear The Wolves''s releases around the corner and if speculation is true and Ring of Elysium does indeed get released globally in 3 months from now the PUBG player numbers are going to drop substantially. It will teach game developers to listen to their communities and fix their broken shit. But they made their money already so they most likely don't really care.

I love it! I'm a WWI WII type of guy as it has a sence of history to it and I like history so I'm definitely going to get this aswell as BOP4. It's been a long time since I bought a Call of duty.

The mechanics and feel seem to have been improved a lot.

Like he says its more COD like which isn't a bad thing.

Right now im playing BF1 and everyone is moaning about how the servers are stacked with all the good people on one side and its not enjoyable.
But thats what happens when only 2 servers are populated.....
So I dont see them giving us servers for BFV, and im probably not going to buy the game if we don't get servers.

JHB Servers are already up and running, I have been testing some beta features on them - Pretty sure Cape Town is in the same boat.

This is for Azure, but in theory, any game developer who runs their games on Azure can easily just add another region and auto roll out - Which would be amazing since then we can almost always ensure we get servers for games running on Azure

But im pretty sure they wont be adding a RSA server....EVER. But it would be amazing if they did though.
Wonder how much is left of the RSA players. A lot of my friends have either moved on to other games or gone to Fortnite

Yea I love(d) PUBG - but that pissed me off way too much... That silly ping gives the perception they're aiming in a general vicinity, then if you spectate their kill cam you're noodling around and they have clear line of site...

As mentioned earlier, Azure servers will soon be live in SA - Since PUBG runs on Azure servers, it would take them 30 seconds to add an additional region to their roll-out...

Despite a lot of PUBG players in SA being pissed off with the current state of the game, if they do roll out a server in SA I think there will be a lot of players on it.

Almost every person on my Steam friends list owns and plays PUBG. The PUBG South Africa facebook group has 1300 members and the petition that was made on change.org for local PUBG servers had over 11 000 signatures.

There is probably more PUBG players in SA than Battlefield players.

But then what's the point?
I can guarantee that nobody's gonna wait +10min for a game when they can just play on the other +200ping servers in less than half the time.

It might sound like im overly negative, but I would rather not get my hopes up and be disappointed. So expectations are very low non-exciting and then I can be well surprised in the end IF it happened.
