So I purchased a Core P3 case form Wootware last week which arrived today. Took forever to assemble, only to boot with no display. Motherboard debug LED = VGA. Did some searching, turns out the riser cable (for vertical gpu mount) that comes with the case simply doesnt work with high end cards. I even tried to mount it normally, but because of the length of my GPU (gaming x trio) it collides with the reservoir and wont seat in any of the PCIE slots by far.
Thermaltake have even admitted the problem but hardly accommodate consumers, and I doubt they would even respond to someone in South Africa.
Apparantly you can purchase an after market riser cable for an insane amount of money ($80+) excluding shipping from overseas. There's no way i'm doing that.
So my options are:
A) Send the whole case back (if Wootware will even take it?)
B) Anyone know where I can find a good quality riser locally?
Thanks.
