Good day Carbies,

I just want to ask, I bought this because I was going to replace my CPU cooler but not going to be doing that soon, so I was thinking of 1, just replacing the current paste on my cooler.

2. I want to ask how much of a recommendation would it be to repaste my 980ti with the Grizzly and is it worth it. If so, what be the process and if there are any pros/cons to doing your GPU other than outright temps difference and thermal conductivity. I have the 11,8 wm/k version of the Grizzly (I believe it is the highest conductivity measurement of the series they have.)

I don't want it to just sit around since I haven't used it for what I initially wanted to.

Thoughts?

When I had my 980ti I replaced it with TG Hydro, but didn't test to see if there were any gains.

But overall TG Hydro is damn good stuff, only thing I use. If I could I'd brush my teeth with it lol.

Oh and it's very easy to do. While you take it apart, strip the shroud and fans and all completely and clean it thoroughly to.

Yeah I was thinking it can do with a repaste and might as well put TG because of how high quality it is, and it will be worthwhile to spring clean the entire GPU too while it is deconstructed. How many uses did you get out of the 1ml tube Gurshick?

I bought a 7.8g about 3years back and it's still more then half full, only use a pea size everytime.
