The Outer Worlds

But will it be less buggy?
I have always felt that the creation/gamebryo engine’s creaky nature contributed to 3/new Vegas/4/76 being such shitshows as far as bugs are concerned. Hopefully the Unreal engine will help Obsidian turn out something worthy of the hype train I desperately want to get on.

But before Gamebryo, Obsidian were the kings of bugs. Anyone remember Alpha Protocol?

Saw the advert and thought, well guess i am skipping Fallout 76 and waiting for this as the setting looks good, it has NPCs and game looks pretty.

Haven't been inspired to buy a new game in ages, this one looks promising enough that think I will get it. Have enjoyed most the Obsidian games I have played.

Found a gameplay video:

Yea, very cool game so far, it has a distinct BioShock feeling to it.

A few things that bug me are:

- You cant see your feet if you look down
- You cant see your arms when a weapon is holstered and you are running
- Graphics are good but have a too vivid of a colour palate
- You cant take the helmet off of your companion (yes you can remove it visually in the games menu but you cant remove it completely only swapping it out for another one)
- Companions are useless in combat, you need to manually tell them to fire at a target even if their Rules of Engagement are changed.
- Character customisation needs some work. They make the background so damn dark its difficult to choose a hair colour that is dark. Hair choices are a bit awful for female characters as most of them are short and butch lesbian looking.

Edit: Your character DOES NOT TALK, wtf, this is 2019. It breaks so much immersion.

My heart melted in FO4 when my character spoke, loved it.

Do you know if the game supports HDR?

Quite a fun fedex game indeed. Characters are weak though... they lack oomph/ any form of backbone.

You can holster your weapon? How'd I miss that.
I feels bad pointing my weapon at everyone

Leaving GroundBreaker and going directly to monarch is quite tough but doable (on story difficulty) probably not doable for me on higher difficulty.
