Awesome! I installed my 6700k this evening. Did a quick 4.8mhz OC. Runs amazing.

Did you have to tweak the voltage at all to achieve 4.8GHz? Or is that running on stock voltage? I'm eager to see how far I can get the chip to go on stock voltage this weekend. Will aim for between 4.5/4.6GHz to start with :p

Damn... I hope my chip is as golden as yours :encouragement: Have you tested any stability in AIDA 64 or 3DMark yet?

I'm surprised it would auto adjust that high.
Over 1.45 is asking for trouble. Try finding a stable clock at around 1.4 for a bit of extra safety.

Nice build. A interesting vid for you to watch. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xNAMxZgvves

Only critisisms - 1)Get reusable velcro for the cable management. 2)That screen.. You prob spent 20-25K on everything , but that screen just ruins it :p

Thanks for the feedback :)

In response:

1) I have an entire bag (plus a spare) of cable ties that resides permanently in my tool kit. I need to get through them somehow xD

2) Yes, the monitor is disgusting... However, it's been my old faithful that I've had for several years now. Do not worry though, I will be purchasing something a little more "gaming oriented" in December :p

P.S. GPU temps and chassis heat are not an issue with my build. The idle temperature of my GPU is 21-22 degrees Celsius, with a ceiling of around 54-56 degrees under max load. As for CPU, it sits at 23-24 on idle and a max of 40-44 under load. Will be interesting to see if any of this changes once I receive my Cosmos C700P in the coming weeks.

Pleasure man.

Trust me, get reusable velcro, it'll change your life :p Or get reusable cable ties, but I find the velcro to be alot cleaner & more professional looking.

Doesn't even need to be 100hz or > , just needs to not look like its from 2000 :p

Thanks for the feedback :)

I've built a system in the Cooler Master C700P, it's an amazing chassis.

Just a bit heavy, something in the ballpark of 20kg when it's empty... :p

Where did you get that Corsair cable kit? If you don't mind me asking.

Wait more so, how does the corsair cable kit work...

Is it for a modular PSU and just connects directly to the PSU, or is almost an extension?

Sorry noob question, just really curious.

Purchased it from Rebel Tech. They have a few different colours for them as well.

The cable kit is for Corsair's RM***x and RM***i series of PSUs, and replaces the stock black cables that come with them, thereby maintaining its fully modular properties with the new kit. This is their second iteration of the cables, as far as I know.
