Job Description/Requirements:
We are as obsessed with our customer services as we are about our product. We know that the quality of our support is a competitive advantage and we want to keep it that way. If you can work patiently and calmly through a tricky problem and think customers are, in fact, generally pretty cool, then we want you to consider a technical customers support specialist role.

About this role
We are expanding our Support Team to accommodate our growing local and international customer database. We are looking for a dynamic, intelligent and competent individual to join our support team and assist our customers with technical problems when using our product.

Your support responsibilities will include resolving customer queries, recommending solutions and guiding product users through features and functionalities. To be successful in the role you should be an excellent communicator who’s able to earn our customers’ trust. You should also be familiar with help desk software.
Currently our support team is based in the Stellenbosch office. This role will be our first Johannesburg based customer support specialist, therefore there is the potential for it to grow into a key leadership position for the growing Johannesburg support team. There will be a training element to the role as well, because the support team is the first point of call for the graduates going through our’s graduate programme.

The ideal candidate would be someone who is naturally empathetic, calm enough to soothe even the most agitated customer, know show to prioritise and differentiate important tasks from urgent ones, a great communicator and has a naturally positive outlook on life. We also need a team player who takes initiative.

About what you will do
  • Build a mutually beneficial relationship between our customers and our brand
  • Handle customer requests, questions and complaints on a variety of support channels
  • Offer technical support to customers experiencing difficulties with our app.
  • Improve existing processes.
  • Customer configurations – importing data and configuring customer instances.
  • Report on product malfunctions to assist in improving the product overall.
  • Follow up with customers to ensure their technical issues are resolved
  • Manage client data
  • Help train you graduates on our graduate programme
About you:
  • 2+ years experience in a support environment
  • Empathy is your super power
  • Experience using help desk software and remote support tools
  • Excellent communications and problem-solving skills
  • Patience when handling tough cases
  • Strong proficiency with Excel.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Good knowledge of mobile devices (Both iOS and Android).
  • Familiarity with our industry is a plus
  • Desire to grow and lead
  • Self-directed – ability to motivate self, prioritise and take action when needed
