Evening All,

I recently got a 1060 and since then I have experienced 2 or 3 hangs. Once was an immediate restart, another was a hang then restart, and now it was a straight up hang with me restarting the system.

Does somebody know how to interpret Event Viewer in windows? I don't know why there are so many instances of kernel power in the below pictures with so many different time and date stamps as I haven't experienced any issues outside of described above(at least not power issues, I shut down correctly every day). I used DDU correctly when installing the 1060 (moved from AMD card) and the system runs fine outside of these instances, something seems to be catching it in a moment and hanging the system.

Driver issue or something else? Event 41, 56, 10016 & 1101 seem to be saying some process was called and failed or is corrupted. My guess is driver issue. if someone know

This has happened each time playing R6S.

Thank you in advance for any help, I appreciate it greatly🙏

PSU specs? Is the GPU firmly installed in the PCIe slot? I know someone who had an issue similar to this due to GPU not being fully inserted into the PCIe slot. Does it happen while running benchmarks and other GPU intensive games as well?

Updated thread for system specs, pretty sure it is seated properly, I double check and make sure each side is level with each other.I haven't run any benchmarks or played much of any other game recently. It doesn't act up in editing software, although I haven't put 4k/larger size footage through it yet. I cap my fps at 160, siege isn't too hard on a gpu when on the lowest spec so it hold the cap constantly.

@Ainsley all drives at full health.

It is literally a momentary even where it'll freeze nor foreword or behaviour to indicate it is coming, if I can put it like that.

Does it hold up with something like furmark?

If you use premier you may want to use this bench from puget to test for stability (tests 4 and 8k footage)
Or if you useDaVinci Resolve then this one

do you have any new dump file entries after you experience a freeze?

Haven't run benchmarks, Furmark is also really hard on GPU's so I tend to not want to run it.

I'll run DaVinci's benchmark as I have been meaning to. Also I have no experience in dump files so I cannot say.
