That's a lot of hardware for 300k, I'm impressed! Ok I actually thought closer to 500k, I guess my estimate was based on the overall scale of his project, which is largely based on number of panels.

It is easily a R500k setup. Where I saved a lot is that half the hardware is 1 year old (my initial installation and then the upgrade came) and I did both installations myself. Also, I am a registered retailer, so I get some of the items a bit cheaper (not much).

I have seen some installers charging their clients obscene prices for installation & labor only!
