I recently decided to change the POS fan that came in my UPS with and equivalent cfm maglev unit for About R70 if I recall correctly. Granted it was just a 60mm but the fan noise has gone from leafblower to normal pc fan that isn't bothersome at all.

My questions are, is anyone running these I there systems, for those of us who don' t care about RGB?
Are they OEM manufactures for any of the well know brands? I know they are used heavily in the industrial sector but the prices seem dam reasonable for performance and they have a HUGE product line that mantech can source.

PS I did have to buy a crimping tool to attach the connector but you can never have too many tools

Sunon is a well known brand. Been around longer than most pc fan manufacturers.

Not to sound precocious but i am aware of their quality and requtation, its why i used them to replace the UPS fan. I mean corsair is toting maglev and sunon have been doing it for years.
I just wanted to get some feedback from anyone that has used them in towers etc. I am what is the reason to buy deepcool, corsair etc when you can get as good or better bar noctua? as long as you dont want RGB

An full stealth aliexpress and Sunon Open loop build might be pretty cool.

Quarantine and beer have me thinking is all.

I am pretty sure one of my Corsair PSU's had a Sunon fan (since you mentioned both brands). Gentle Typhoons were Nidec Servo made. Some industrial fans are pretty good, but not necessarily cheap, and some also make cheap fans that aren't necessarily good.

If you want silence and don't want to buy 20 fans to find a good one, just get Noctua.
