On the items:
The subwoofer packs one hell of a punch. It made my stomach turn with only 180W put on it, due to it's low frequency response. I wanted to put this in my new car, but I'm going to try something else instead. The box it's in isn't a flea market special, it's a sealed box made to the subwoofer's specifications by a guy who knows his stuff. It's made from thick superwood (I think it's 16mm), has a recessed rim and a sealed-in cable to plug the woofer in without opening the box. Box alone cost me R750 IIRC. The whole thing is covered in black fabric, so it looks the part. There's about 1.5m of thick gauge subwoofer cable with connectors included as well.
The speakers are smaller, with a 50W nominal power handling. They are of VERY high quality, and you won't find higher quality sound from any other speakers in that price class. Sweden builds these, so that's understandable. I ran these of the stock head unit of my previous car with GREAT success, but they'll do well on an amplifier as well. Like I said, their grilles are gone (really I have no idea what the hell I did with them), but they're 6.5" speakers so they'll fit in most car's doors without hassle, hiding out of view behind existing car door grilles.
I'm going to put a bundle price on these items for R1,750.
