Stranger Things S3

I dunno about this. It's lost its charm now since the kids are slightly older irl. Season 1 was still the best though.

Season one had a sense of mystery, 2 was still good though.
Will still watch the new season, but not getting on the hype train just yet

Agree with the others. Season 1 (and 2, especially with that awesome Thriller trailer) was great. With this one I'm not feeling THAT hyped, but will still watch it.

Season 3 done.

RIP Jim, sad ending indeed...

Poor Joyce, first Bob now Jim 🤣

The "American" in captivity with the Russians. Also, not a single dot of ash/ body remains left of Jim. Maybe a 1% chance he's actually alive? Even the Mind Flayer being dead is still questionable..

So much plot regurgitation it seems to me anyway.

Somewhat enjoyed the 3rd season though

Enjoyed S3. Need to rewatch it. I agree some of the charm is now gone but I feel they did well, tying in themes and elements from the past series... cheesy is part of the DNA. It was quite fun and had a good dose of action but it didnt have the dread of other seasons. In recent memory it was only ST and Hill House that really got the scare factor right right for me... this didnt quite do the same.

Some fan theories also hint that it could be Dr. Martin Brenner. But I have a feeling that it's Hopper.

Def retained it's binge-worthiness. Overall a decline in the season (as compared to the first two seasons). Lots of time wastage and prolonged scenes.

Didn't like the whole change to the "zombie apocalypse" vibe. We;ve seen enough shows with that.

Still keen for season 4 though 👽

On ep6...will try and finish tonight but man I'm enjoying the cheese!

I hope so, he was probably my favorite character and I'm sure for others as well, I don't think it would be as good without him.
As for the Mind-Flayer, from what I understood, didn't they just beat it (not kill it) by sealing off the gate again and cutting off it's "brain"from the "body"? So if the gate ever opens again then it'll be back

I thought Season 3 was fantastic, even the ending didn't bother me. I was expecting less to be honest.

There were some quirky moments but its not a very serious series

8.9/10

The absolute best part is where Dustin had to sing Neverending story to his GF! I absolutely LMAO at that scene:ROFLMAO: <guess the older folk on here would understand a bit better:ROFLMAO:

I totally think they could've slid that scene in at a more appropriate time though. I mean they were in the middle of this super serious situation which is supposed to have you at the edge of your seats and then when its back to the action all the seriousness is just gone.

Started off strong, and fell flat for me pretty quick. Still great show and would recommend. But I agree, it definitely does not have that same alure as season 1. It's not that they did anything much wrong either, I liked the ideas they had and the execution (goddamn the cinematography is soo good). Just doesn't have that same magic in the air

I really enjoyed season 1 and 2. Trying to convince my GF to watch the first 2 seasons so we can watch the third together. Heard good things about season 3

I gave up two episodes in. The show collapses in on itself in regards to story.. Everything is done superbly though. Its a goosebumps for adults story trope.
