Still no SSD

Description of Bad Deal:
I bought the bundle on 2 April.
Got the bundle on the 10th of April. But the Crucial MX500 250gb SSD that was promised wasn't in the case.
Reached out to seller on that date and he promised me that he will ship them overnight.

All cool, so I waited a few days and asked for a update on 14 and 15th of April. Seller tells me that he will send me the waybill on the 16th of April.
I thought he sent it so I asked again on 18th April for an update.
Seller was away for the long weekend and he gave me an update on 21th of April that I should get it by Tue/Wed

I asked again on the 24th of April and he said that he will call the couriers to find out whats going on.
25th of April the seller tells me I should expect it that afternoon of that week.
26th of April apparently Dawn wing courier guy is on leave so seller "arranged" courier guys to pick up from dawn wing to ship it to me on Saturday.
27th of April. I didn't get it yet so I asked for waybill.
29th April. He tells me he can't get hold of couriers so he bought another new SSD to send it to me.
I asked for the tracking code on Tuesday and again on Thursday so he finally on Thursday got me a picture of Aramex waybill that evening.

I check the tracking code on Aramex website on Thursday, Friday, and today and it is showing invalid/data not currently available error.
The parcel should have been scanned in by Aramex by now so I'm suspecting this is either a old waybill or something

It's been more than 3 weeks of constantly querying the seller for the item and I still haven't gotten it yet.
Could the Admins please assist.

There was no issue with communication when he was giving me his bank details. But there was something off that night.

The night I paid, 2nd April, he said he would book the courier that night. But he never once asked for my address.
- 3rd April he never once prompted me for an address and it was only once I remembered this fact, I gave him my address at night.
- 4th April. No communication
- 5th April. No communication, I asked for update.
- 6th April. No communication, I prompted for update.
- 7th April. I asked for update and said I told him I assumed this will become a bad deal. He finally gave a voice note on whatsapp saying his busy.
- 8th April. He finally shipped without the SSD.

It was a mission from beginning to get the PC. And it's a mission to get the SSD now.

Hi so if you dont mind me adding my 2 cents. Original SSD was shipped with dawnwing and never arrived, I since then queried and they say it has been put down as stolen. I therefore bought a brand new 250gb adata ssd shipped to him with Aramex from Paarl. I have sent him the waybill. I dont know why it is not showing yet. The SSD should of been collected by Aramex by the Friday as like op says I only managed to get it shipped on Thursday evening.

I have asked a friend of mine to check as he works in logistics at Aramex as well.

I trust the package will arrive at him soon. But I don't know what I can do further at this point.

I sent him a new ssd even though according to original post shipping is at buyers risk. If you guys think I could of done more let me know.

I know communication from my side isn't always the best but I always honor my deals.

Yes, I accept the risk of shipping and I appreciate your the feedback but:

1. You never gave me a waybill for the original SSD by dawnwing.
Since from the start you told me you have shipped stuff, only to be told differently later on.

On the 10th you told me you will "ship" it overnight. I don't know what happened then.
On the 16th you have sent me a voice note that you will send me a waybill. This didn't happen.
On the 21st you told sent me a voice note you were away for the long weekend and "I would have it by Tuesday, Wednesday that week."
On the 27nd April, I asked you for waybill. Didn't receive respond.

2. On the 29th April you sent me another voice note, telling me you don't know what happen and will send me a new SSD.
On the 2nd of may after I prompted for the waybill, you gave me a cut off picture of Aramex waybill.
On the 4th of May, I asked you what is happening since the Waybill you sent is showing invalid - which has been ignored until today.

So right now I don't know what to believe. Apparently now the parcel got lost twice by courier.
I am willing to accept the SSD "lost by courier" if you can prove you shipped the first SSD and show the full Aramex waybill, showing the date and the address to who you shipped it off to.

@AztekSA I've had enough. The waybill number you send to Deviation is for a parcel that's over a year old, sent from someone named "Chris Veldman" to someone named "Lisa Martinago". That's why we can't pick up the number. I think:

You never sent any SSD to Deviation. You sold him the PC without the SSD knowing you don't have an SSD to include - yet you didn't tell him this. You also never sent the SSD that was "stolen". I refuse to believe this, since there's no proof of that shipment. As a result, the second "new" SSD was also never sent, and you don't have any intention to send it anytime soon.

You, my dude, are an asshole. You are no longer welcome on Carbonite. I'm also going to give all the guys all the information I can gather about you and I'm going to urge him to open a case of fraud/theft at SAPS against you, since both of them haven't gotten their stuff yet. To clarify, they are:

I don't have an address yet, but I'm trying to get it together. I know he stays in Cape Town, and that cell number is a Vodacom number, so they might be able to give you guys more info as well with a SAPS case number.

That waybill hasn't even been sent off yet. It's not signed by the Aramex courier when they pick it up. It's useless, which means @Deviation's SSD is still somewhere there with him.

EDIT: Oh yes, and again, excuses but not items. Always have to "step out" or "get lost" or "miss them" or "run out of time". It can never just be "send". Always some excuse.

I just realised the waybill contains his address. Maybe a CPT Carbie wouldn't mind driving over to pick up these items he owes the Carbies? At least then he can avoid criminal cases against him?

They clear out the drop boxes at around 3pm every afternoon or so I was told by them.

I've spoken to Aramex directly. The date on the waybill is the 2nd. The box was emptied after that - a few times already. No trace of that parcel.

Update: Martin has dropped of my parcel at the TCG depot in CapeTown. I have received a confirmation from TCG that the parcel is at the depot. All seems good for now, parcel is overnight and should arrive to me tomorrow sometime and i will provide an update on when it arrives.

So far my dealings with Martin have been legit. I'm 80% sure my GPU will arrive in good order. If @Deviation (gets his SSD) Maybe we should give Martin the benefit of the doubt, he does have over 50 positive iTraders. Maybe he is sincere or has had a bad week or 2?

"Apparently" Aramex found the parcel "stuck" in the drop off bin and I will most likely get the parcel tomorrow.

Twins here with a update on my parcel. Basically I had the same experience as Deviation. I am still waiting for the parts to be delivered. I have received the courierguy way bill on 9 May. I am in a outlined area but my friend at courierguy wil personally deliver it to me on Saterday. So I'll update again.

Update: I received my GTX 1080 from Martin aka (AztekSA) via TCG about 10 minutes ago. Product was well packaged and condition was better then expected.

I paid 17 April and R300 for shipping, he said he would ship the same day but I still have to receive parcel.

Basically it was late reply's and what seems like empty promises for delivery dates again and again. I do think I'll get it this time and wil update on delivery time and condition of parcel.

Maybe he just had a few rough days... BUT if a mod wants details then I will pass it on.

If I may chime in here. I bought a complete PC from AztekSA (Martin) last year in person. I know in which flat block he lives in Observatory, if he hasn't moved. I only met him outside. I remember that he said his parents live in Boschenmeer or Val De Vie in Paarl, which is why he ships stuff from there as well.

My deal with him went smooth, but his communication clearly isn't great. I don't think he would deliberately try to screw anyone over, but if whatever circumstances in his life keeps him from doing his best to resolve issues and communicate in a timely fashion, he should not be dealing on here.
