Sticking it to the man (Sony's Region Locked Prices): Getting US PlayStation Store prices in SA

So I'm not sure whether this has been talked about before but there is a large disparity between US and SA PlayStation Store prices. They couldn't region lock their games but they found a creative way to do it via pricing. But there is a way around it...

First: you need to create a PSN account - not necessarily with PS+ - that is linked to a US address. You should be able to browse the PS Store from either your PS or any other device.

Second: Because you cannot pay using payment methods linked to South African addresses - incl. PayPal accounts - on the PS Store, you have to go on Amazon and purchase a Digital Store prepaid card. This payment has to be done also with a billing address based in the US but you can still use a SA payment method.

Third: Add the prepaid card to your PS store wallet and DULLA WHAT YOU KRY.

Thanks for the response man! I went with US account because of Slickdeals - spotted MKXL and GOW 3 Remastered for $4.99 each ($2.99 each if you have PS+). I used that link you embedded and I did a conversion on a few games incl. Spiderman and GoW - they're both slightly more expensive on the Indonesian store. Apparently the US store is cheaper because of the flash sales/daily deals and the spend $100 get $15 special. In terms of availability I have read about the tons of extra content on the Japanese store - but also the difficulty of navigating that menu. 😂 Something that was also mentioned was the language content of the games on the Indonesian stores - a mix of Korean/Chinese just to name 2. Still trying to figure out how to get the cheapest PS+ membership tho - it's absolutely ridiculous in SA. 🤷🏾‍♂️ Suggestions?
