Description of Bad Deal: Seller sold the device with false information, also untrustworthy.
Wed 30 Jan: We had chatted about swapping his drone for my laptop, all is well. He tells me the drone has been flown once and was bought in december.
Fri 1 Feb: I ship the laptop to him and he organised they collect from him.
Sat 2 Feb: He states he is busy and will later send me the waybill number.
Mon 4 Feb: He sends me the waybill number, although Sunny from Ichigo messages me and tells me that he dropped it off on monday with other parcels.
Tue 5 Feb: I ask why the waybill has no details and ask if its maybe because it was only sent yesterday and confront him about lying to my face about when he dropped it off. (Im a small business owner and I'm very understanding when it comes to not getting around to doing things) BUT DONT LIE TO MY FACE. and then he ignores my confrontation.
Wed 6 Feb: The parcel gets delivered to a completely wrong town, Sunny then had to make some calls and redirect the parcel for me (excellent service from his side)
Fri 8 Feb: I receive the parcel in an atrocious box ( attached will be images ). I then see there is no Invoice in the box as promised and besides that, the blades of the drone have had way more then one flight and never mind the battery having over 20 charge cycles. I message him asking for the invoice which he said he SENT in the box. He then tells me to give takealot the serial number they will help me.
Wed 13 Feb: I speak to toxxyc regarding the entire matter of selling something saying its new and then it looks like it has been used for a long time. Initially i wasn't wanting a partial refund, but i bought this as a gift for my nephew and i could not give such a used device away as a gift and with no warranty. I let the trader know that im not happy and im wanting a refund for the props and i still want the invoice.
Fri 15 Feb: I ask if he has found the invoice he was going to try and source, he ignores me.
Tue 19 Feb: I ask him to refund me 500 rand so i can get new props and to "Cover warranty", once again ignores me
Wed 20 Feb: He tells me check with DJI for warranty and it came with one extra pair, NO it came with one extra prop, a pair is two. Also it is missing a extra prop and the ones are all scuffed and sliced.
and here i am, making the thread which i didn't want to happen.
