What is everyone thinking of getting with Steam Summer sale?

I'm interested in:

GrimDawn
DS3
Nioh
Witcher 3: GOTY

Any RTS Suggestions?
One's I'm thinking of:

AOE 2
FrostPunk look decent
Anno 1800 even though it isn't Steam based

DragonBall Fighter Z
PUBG
Maybe Squad
Maybe Civ VI
Hunt: Showdown
Stellaris

Haven't played an RTS in a good while and the bug is itching again. DS3 or something similar maybe because I enjoy Difficult RPG's. Itching for something nice and engaging that I can relax and play. Siege drains me out some times.

Not sure exactly what to go for since I want something chill back but challenging since Siege is my main game, so looking for something to just lay back and enjoy, any suggestions on titles and maybe what you thinking of that I can look into as well.

CyberPunk very tempting but might give that a rest until Black Friday.

Sekiro I'm on the fence about, watched a decent bit of game play and it look really good I just have an on/off feeling about it. Niod may tickle my fancy so i am going to watch some game play on it. The story looks interesting. There's also a game I played halfway through a while back called Lords of the Fallen, I enjoyed the mechanics since it is similar to DS, only R25 on sale right now and even though it has mixed reviews it was rather enjoyable from what I did play. For R25 it has a good bit of content and a decent story line, good amount of hours in the campaign too.

I can highly recommend fable anniversary if you haven't played fable the lost chapter yet. It is an old game but the story line and humor is tops! It is also on 75% discount atm :).

Sadly stay away from Civ6. Unless it changed in a recent update a previous update riddled it with spyware. The publishers want to know everything about you, even more than EA does.

oof, that's sad. Was looking into Stellaris and it seems that it dulls out mid/end game so kinda bummed about that.

Played Lords of the fallen all the way through and while it has some silly level design here and there which can make fights claustrophobic it was a really enjoyable experience. I also got it dirt cheap a while ago and it was definitely bang for buck.

Not part of the sale, so pricey, and currently on pre-order but I freaking love that Spyro has come to Steam.

By the way Cyber Punk 2077 isn't gonna help you any more on Black Friday, pre-orders don't do specials.

Yeah , you can't be all that disappointed at the price point, you get a good few hours of game play out of it.

Dude

if you have not plated witcher 3, (GOTY HAS ALL EXPANSIONS)
Get it, it is still one of the best games ever made.

Also screw pubg, play apex

y U do DiS, bought Spyro along with my PS1 and was literally the first ever PS game I played. Although I can't remember much I know that I enjoyed it a good bit. I just honestly want the Jack and Daxter series to come back :'(

I completely forgot about it and it popped up on the steam page and was like UwU. As for pubg, I feel I want to play to just to play it, I don't know if I would get stuck into and as such am on the fence about it.

Spyro is like what crash bandicoot did to me years ago on ps1 so much addiction is healthy in a sense :) as for nioh I need to get a controller to play it

I want all the mascots back damnit.

Jak & Daxter have a spiritual successor by the way, Skylar & Plux and it's on 75% special.

witcher,ds3 and nioh stand out on your list, the rest .. meh.
DBFZ is fun if you have someone to play with.
network play in SA sucks

You say what now? 👀 It looks good, I see the game play/mechanics present in Skylar& Plux. Don't want to say it doesn't look as challenging as Jack and Daxter but I don't know if I'll enjoy it as much. The hidden orbs in Jack 3 along with the cars and the hover board really made that game for me. Defo's going to keep this in mind though thank you :)

Yeah I think it unfortunately is a bit simpler. But given we haven't had many such games in basically all of the last decade it's still a gem.

Steam also has the N Sane Trilogy but just at 40%.

This is also true. Too many nostalgia's coming in xD Wishlisted Crash, Won't grab it right now though, I feel my wallet getting lighter already xD

I highly Recommend The Witcher 3. Playing my second play through and still finding new things to keep me engaged. Will not regret it. I wont lie the first time i played it i was a bit lost and needed to get use to the machanics but the second time around it becomes much more enjoyable.

I am leaning towards this, because it has so much game play value in it, I just want to see what RTS titles are out there too that people can recommend beacause I have been wanting an RTS for some time now. Might evne just end up grabbing AOE 2 HD edition(even though definitive is coming out later this year)

Really leaning towards Grim Dawn and Witcher, both have plenty content and able to grind multiple times, beginning to get itchy for Grim Dawn :D. As for Witcher, I haven't touched the game and that makes me keen to unfold what is happening in that, may even lead me to read the books with the series coming out too.

Get Rise of Nations - EE if you don't have it already and itching for some quality oldschool strategy. Then get the AoE2 Definitive later.

Let me just expand on that RTS theme
So Rise of Nations - Extended Edition
Then your other options are: Age of Mythology, this one isn't scheduled for a definitive edition yet so its safe.
For something more modern you have Supreme Commanders or Grey Goo (though Goo is a bit too odd and streamlined for me).
And Age of Wonders 3 is very civ-like except you don't get quite the same overworld resource management and when units battle it's not on the overworld but it goes into a hex combat layer allowing for even more strategy.
And lets not forget Anno, or Civ Beyond Earth (which isn't riddled with all the crap 6 is)
Cossacks 3 is also finally at a recommendable level.

I've seen game play on Age of Mythology, and it does peak my interest.
Don't think I'll look into Grey Goo
Age of wonders is also a so so for myself. I didn't think of Civ 5 actually and I would be rather interested in giving that a peek.
I don't know much on Anno but was watching some video on 1800 last night and I would enjoy that type of experience definitely.
Cossacks 3 actually looks pretty noice, will look into that a bit more too.

Ended up with Grim Dawn, Witcher 3 GOTY & Kovaak's aim trainer.

An hour later I won a $20 steam gift card 😂 should've waited😂

Now looking at getting:
Insurgency: Sandstorm
Hunt: Showdown
Grim Dawn Expansions
an array of old RTS titles?
