the mini side quests of 'go speak to x' or 'go help x'

If you mean the ones that are listed under "activities," many (most?) of these lead to a full quest line themselves.

From what I can find I have done the faction quests you can do.
Ryujin, UC, Sysdev/Pirates, Freestar
Not sure if there are any more.

There are quests not directly related to a faction.

Wanted to show you guys the difference in boosting between normal and alt jump/boosting for those who don't know.
