Hey everyone!

Sorry that I have been quiet these past few days, on Tuesday and Wednesday, I attended a "Mini Roadshow" with Cooler Master at Rectron, whereby the Sinister mod was there to be discussed and also their new range of products.

There's a close up of the mod at the "Mini Roadshow":

As requested, here are the final images (Note I will be working more on the mod after rAge, to add final touches and details).

The loop & interior shot when the water was filled:

After the coolant concentrate (EK Blood Red) was added:

A shot of the rear of the chassis before final painting and texturing of the chassis:

Top:

With regards to the adapter plate:

If you are at rAge, come take a look at the mod! It's at the Rectron & RebelTech stand (23)

F*ck... wish I could be there to see this. Do you rate it could feature at rage cpt

Looks great!! I like the fragile sticker on the glass; sinister but fragile[emoji1]

You putting in a light? feels like it needs a bit of a glow to eminate from behind the mobo/ bottom of the case. Might just be the glass in the photos though.
Sshhhhhhh cover up. You're naked

Only criticism is I would change the second hard line that runs to the gpu to a 45 degree bend, this will make it more uniform and keep the line from the tube above it. Other than that love it.

Paid my respects at RAGE today and spent a good 10 minutes going over it. Everything looks factory. Love how the internal LCD screen worked out. Everything looks just perfect.

Thanks!

Yes I originally had it at a 45degree angle to have both pipes leading towards the rear panel as parallel, but unfortunately the one from the GPU to the rear panel cracked and I had to redo the pipe.

The issue was that time was running really thin and I still had to fill the loop, install all the software and make sure that my program was installed and running properly.

The machine as it is, is not 100% complete. There are still more things I would like to work on in the next upcoming weeks, such as obtaining a FC GPU Block, redoing the pipe from the GPU to the rear panel, and also adding some white internal lighting to add more visibility to the hardware.

Overall, this has been an extremely fun and challenging project and I am proud to have it displayed at rAge.

Today being the last day at rAge, if anyone hasn't seen the rig live and is coming to rAge today, feel free to stop by the Rectron & Rebel Tech stand!

Well doing a build of this magnitude and racing against time for the rage expo already speaks volumes for the amount of effort and skill to pull it off in such a small time frame. You sir have serious respect around here.

Great job and keep modding. [emoji4]

What struck me is also how you mounted the GPU water block.. I put the screws in the other way around but I can see how this is actually easier to tighten!

Hi everyone, I would like to thank you all for your comments, compliments, likes and support throughout my build log.

To those of you that made a point to see Sinister in person at rAge, you are awesome! Thank you!

Please see the pictures that I have taken for you all to see, again I will be working further on the mod in the future, when I do, I will update the build log again ;)

Here is the front view:

Side view:

A close up of my program for the system (This needs some more tweaks here and there)

A close up of the name plate:

Lastly, the final overview image of the entire mod:

Thank you for the kind words! :D

Hey everyone! Hope you are all well :)

I have fixed all of the small things on my website, take a look here: Home | Sphinx Mods

More details to come in the near future :D

Another thing I forgot to add earlier, I completed the program that I wrote for Sinister.
The problem I was having, was that the sensor ID's on my development machine were not the same as the Sinister rig, so I fixed that. It now displays perfectly and is accurate! :D

A quick update, here's a shot of the Sinister rig running live at the GAC Lan at the Asus stand along with their latest Z270 line of motherboards! :D
