Splinterlands (nft game)

Hi guys. I'm just checking to see if there are other Saffas who play this game. I started a few weeks ago and am finally getting the hang of everything. This is the first nft game I've played. Initially, I didn't like it because I expected a normal free to play game, but after leaning about the economy and renting some cards it was way better.

It is so weird how the gaming space is changing. I don't expect to make too much money from the game, but the fact that you can seems amazing.
Is anyone else playing this? Here is my link if you want to try it Splinterlands - Collect, Trade, Battle! . Do expect to pay a bit of money for cards though.

Even though I’d like to be enthusiastic and maybe my expectations are too high but, even Yu-gI-ho haven’t made a entertaining online game I would spend time in.

Earning an nft from a no-name game which you have to “rent cards” in is a no-no for me.

It is still gambling to profit from the game correct?
