Very nice trailer for spiderman!
Could he be the new Iron man? Hes got the suit and they need someone. Hes a bit young though.
Did anyone else notice that he has Tony's glasses that connects him to Friday and Iron mans whole system.
Que Iron woman to save the day
Yup! Why I booked my tickets alreadySeems like this movie is gonna be a bigger deal than I thought it was going to be.
I think it actually might be. Digging through Google now.Isn't this the last Spidey movie included in the contract? Should they really be putting so much on a character Sony still owns?
The contract initially included three MCU movies, which will have been finished up after Avengers: Endgame, and three Spider-Man solo movies, leaving one left after Spider-Man: Far From Home hits theaters in July 2019
The contract is set to expire after a third solo movie is made, but according to producer Amy Pascal, Sony is eager to extend the deal beyond that.
I'll watch on the 15th.Yup! Why I booked my tickets already
Hmm, I really hope they do extend as Billy Elliot is my favourite Spidey so far (though it's a very close race between Tobey and Christopher Daniel Barnes and him). Looking forward to him ditching school and going to uni/college where Spidey is meant to be agewise.I think it actually might be. Digging through Google now.
I thoroughly enjoyed the movie, from the tech, to the fighting, character personalities, comic relief, and more!
Having seen Tom in more Avengers settings than Solo settings, it did feel like our world view was a bit limited. I'm not expecting half the comic-verse to make and appearance, but my expectations are skewed due to all the Avengers action.
I was expecting the spideysense to feature earlier and more, but I understand they didn't want to cheapen it. It was well implemented regardless.
I lol'd. Was hoping they would have visualized his experience, ala Spiderman 1 with Toby Maguire
Not super convinced by how they did the plot twist, their motivation, "fire" (pun intended) etc all seemed a bit, half-arsed
I knew from the original 90's cartoons that Mysterio was a bad guy, the trailer made us believe that it the multi-verse angle was real. I got caught hook, line and sinker.
Why can't we just get the nanotech suit back?????
That is a good question... the trailer, there's a scene where he's catching bad guys and jokes to the cops he's going on vacation, the nano suit was present.
The throwing of the shield Cap'n style was funny
"Bitch please, you've been space!
So do we or do we not have the multiverse included in the MCU?
]Remains to be seen.. Possibly?
30 year old asian high school kids looking like, american movie high school kids? -looks at our high school kids, looks back at the movie- What is going on with this misconception of what a teenager is?
]Remind me who that was again?
I quite enjoyed seeing J.K. Simmons and The Daily Bugle
Currently drawing a blank on what the Fury on the Skrull ship means for the plot and future movies
This gripped me so hard. So the question that becomes, how long have the Skrulls being imitating Fury and Hill ? If you picked up in the Infinity War post credit scene, Hill calls Fury, "Nick". And in Captain Marvel, Fury explicility states that everyone calls him Fury, not Nick, not Nicholas etc. I also picked up something was off when Peter was asking Fury about getting some of the other Avengers to assist, and when he mentions Captain Marvel, Fury was like "Don't invoke her name!". I thought there was really really odd.
But I suspect this will lead to the Secret Invasion storyline in some shape or form.
Might need to rewatch all the MCU movies again and see when they start referring to Fury as Nick, and not Fury anymore..
No Stan Lee cameo... C'mon, learn from the horrible most recent Black Mirror season that you can recreate someone virtually and they shall live on!
We all knew this day would come.. there was a post on 9gag about this exact thing happening some time ago.
Have replied in the quote
I only realised now that, that kiddo = punchy jock from Tobey Maguire's Spiderman ....eishThis movie was fun, finally saw it last weekend. The fight is still ongoing in my head but at the moment it's my 2nd favourite Spidey movie ever. Loved how they did Mysterio.
Nevermind that 32 year old, the entire casting of Peter's school and class seems way off and is easily the worst thing about this iteration of Spiderman. Every single time I see "Flash" it's like someone ripping VR goggles off my face (at least what I imagine that sensation to be like), MAJOR disconnect. Just shatters my immersion and suspension of disbelief completely. I don't mean breaks it, I mean shatters it, it's really violent.
They can go for an Adi Shankar vibe with Agent Venom's human side? IT is quite different though yes. It is not true to the comics, but I think (fml, I hate political correctness and what gets shoved into some media these days), that it is important to highlight that bullies aren't always the big jock guys, but can take many shapes and forms. Now just imagine that that brat is supposed to become Agent Venom.
I mean they got the Spidey fanboying right, but everything else so very wrong.
