Ok so finally I have sourced my parts for my dream pc
Now I'm looking for the perfect screen.
I'm looking at a 6k budget
Specs for my
3900x
ASUS X570-E
Asus RTX 2080ti
32GB Ram @ 3600mhz
What would be the best at my budget?

Bit of a tricky one. You're not quite at 1440P 144Hz range, you're sitting at 1080P 240Hz 24" range. If you could bump it to R8k you'd have better options but that's a lot of cash.

Anything less than 1440p 144Hz would be a severe under-utilisation of the 2080Ti. @Sloppyblap I agree with @UrBaN. Maybe save up a bit longer and go for a really decent screen.

If you have a use case for 32gb RAM then keep it, if not go to 16gb and supplement screen budget like that.

Not really, gaming machines don't need and can't use 32gb of RAM.

Gaming machines can use as much RAM as the MOBO and CPU support.

There's no point to it, but they can.
Linus tested it and found zero performance increase from 16GB to 32GB for gaming. For video editing and other large compute workloads, even up to 128GB can improve performance, depending on the task.

Yup, exactly what I said. I simply responded to the fallacious statement, "gaming machines don't need and can't use 32GB of RAM."

Well I never stated that this is just a gaming pc. I do use my pc for things other than gaming. I'm busy with my license for a drone. I want to record and edit videos And a few other projects

Best way forward if you could spend 30k odd on dream machine surely another few grands towards the 10k screen level does not need justification right :) >?

Dell S2719DGF 1440p and 155Hz (with the correct DP cable, else 144Hz).

Was R5,999 at Evetech for most of last year and on black friday R5.5k.

No better value for money than that at the at price.

But quick google search was disappointing at the results.

You'll want something with decent color rendering then.

Dell S2716DG, there's two on carb floating around for +- R7k, lots of members have them here, including me, 1440p 144hz with G-Sync goodness
