Hi All,

So my guilty pleasure is sitcoms. I mainly end up watching series that have stopped filming from the 90's and 00's
Only new ones I watch are Modern Family and Big Bang Theory (And both are ending soon!)

Any ones you can recommend?

Well there is Sheldon, where Sheldon from big bang is a child.
My guilty pleasure is also sitcoms and I really like Sheldon.

That being said, I'm not sure where it airs except for on DSTV.

Blackish is pretty decent.

HIMYM OFC is the best shit ever in case you haven't watched it.

There's a British sitcom called Cuckoo, if you enjoy brit humour.

Parks & Recreation is finished but it cannot be ignored, same as the office (US version).

The only sitcom I watch these days are Brooklyn 99. I use to watch HIMYM but after season 7 it got boring. Friends still an og bit Brooklyn 99 is a good bet also

It's Brooklyn Nine-Nine SIR!! Worthy mention as ever.

Cool I'll be sure to check out Sheldon and Brooklyn 99. I do like brit humour.. Cuckoo is excellent.

If you have Netflix you can also check out Rake. Seems the Aussies have their own type of humour, a bit like the brits. Its a bit slow, and the humour is very subtle but very good if you get the jokes.

I'm saddened and disgusted on your behalf!
I'd rather have hot pokers shoved in my eyeballs than watch aussie sitcoms :ROFLMAO:

Check out:
F is for Family
Silicon Valley
The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt
Orange is the New Black

If you haven't already

@Maxwell
Try;

Cuckoo was hilarious but only the first season, The Twilight scruffy puppy ruined it, but the mum and dad still have me choking with laughter.
Brooklyn Nine-Nine is just epic, Andy Samberg should have collaborated with Johnny Knoxville at some point, would make entertaining comedy

Also, I'm following this thread, also looking for Brit comedies, they are just funnier and wittier people than Americans

One day at a time is way too PC for me. First season was okay, 2nd season is cringe

Also just getting into the second season with my SO.
I actually like that the issues they tackle are real, it can get emotional but if you're a lifeless robot that feels nothing but a slight serotonin kick every time there's something funny on the screen... this sitcom covers that.

Some others that I enjoyed and no one mentioned:
  • Men at Work
  • Dads (with Seth Green)
  • Fresh Prince of Bel-Air
  • 70s Show
I will edit with more if I remember others

Broad City
Derry girls
Master of None
Friends from College
Fleabag
Crashing
easy

Jake: "I guess thats your new best friend now Santiago, Emphasis on 'IAGO'. Backstabber."

Amy: "I'm Surprised you've read Othello."

Jake: "What the hell's Othello? I was calling you the parrot from Aladdin."

The comedy is just too good.
