Unfortuantely I caught a severe case of CUD on Thursday... The only recovery was a massive impulse buy on Friday... Say hello to the Moza mBooster...

mBooster is short for boosting your debt, nothing more. The pedal config is amazing and in-depth. I struggled a lot intially to get it decent... Friday evening was horrible. I couldn't get it to do what I wanted and there was a weird 'squish' under max braking. Spending some more time on Saturday I was able to get the pedal mostly how I want it.

The ABS feedback and Lock Up haptics are really good. My only real gripe is how large this thing is. I will have to redesign my pedal box in the future to make proper provision.

With those initial thoughts, I'm not 100% convinced it is worth its price. More time will tell. Also, I'm a horrible sim racist and everything I say should be taken for what it is; doodoo.

Not at the moment. I am trying to figure out how to race a GT4 car in iRacing... And PCC in iRacing! Only recently really started to try and do my best... So still LOADS to learn. Might do a bit of ACC soon and do a season or 2.

Any additions lately gents?

I finally started working a round wheel. I bought an Asetek quick release and Temu wheel in December. I mostly want a round wheel for Mazda cup and SRP. Catching a formula wheel in a slide is not fun..

Got a fanatec csl load cell pedal kit for christmas, but it has been delayed to end of Jan.

At the moment struggling to get trophi.ai to work with F1 25. Only reference is time trial with ghost cars.
 
I use the same desk for work and play, so it was a bit of a challenge to get to this point. I don't have a decent picture of it.

PC:
5950X with a 4080 non-S
G91SD on a telescopic arm (pulls to end of desk when racing)

SIM:
Playseat Challenge
Fanatec CSL DD w boostkit and QR
Clubsport F1 Esports wheel
Fanatec CSL Elite pedals

So far:
  • Took a while to get to a setup for the rig I like (right now at 6NM + 320 degrees)
  • Because the rig was very, very 2nd hand, the pedals kept sliding. Found some bits and bobs to better secure that.
  • The seat material can absorb sweat nicely, so this was taken apart and washed recently. Unforunately broke some clips for the plastic headrest inserts.
  • Load cell pedal kit: the normal rubber stop on the elite pedals feels "dead" so makes it fairly difficult to "feel" how much to brake.
  • I am not very good, but I like this a lot. Glad I went this route.

I finally started doing some designs for my laser cutter. Here is a box to keep all the power bricks... I need to see how the 3mm MDF holds up.

I think I'm going to remove the purple accents on the suede/Alcantara and just keep it plain black.
