Look to be fair ... It's an excellent daily driver with 0 effort. The multitronic power delivery is smoothe and a dream in traffic. If you're looking for more sporty shifting you could go flappy paddles or push it into sport. But 99% of the time i'm just sitting on drive. All and All it kinda feels like driving an electric, no gear shifts in drive at all.

IF you really after a more sporty drive after that - rather look at a 2.0T with S-Tronic.

There is no mechatronic on a Multitronic. It's a CVT box.

You are thinking of the S-tronic.

Even then it's a really overblown issue and hardly the drama it really is...so long as you aren't silly enough to take it to the dealership outside of warranty.

Mechatronics don't need to be replaced like the dealers always do, they can be repaired in many cases.
