Hi Asus South Africa,
My fibre modem is connected to an ASUS RT AC 68U in my TV room. One of the LAN ports connects to an outside computer room via a 26 metre cat5e lan cable to an HUAWEI B315S-936 used as a switch to network my desktop pc and printer.
I have a spare ASUS RT AC68U bought on Carbonite which I want to setup this in place of the HUAWEI.The primary ASUS router is barely visible on Wi Fi and I do not use or connect to it wirelessly when I am in the computer room.
How do I setup the second router in place of the Huawei? It has been reset to factory defaults and the firmware is up to date.Looking at the various settings for the router it is a complex piece of equipment and way beyond my knowledge of networking.Your assistance in setting up this second router would be much appreciated.

Thanks for the advice.I note that DHCP address on the main router starts at 192.168.1.20 and ends at 192.168.1.254.Do I assign an address for the secondary router for example 192.168.1.19?
