Hey guys
I have a massive issue that I am freaking out over. Basically, my vega 64 was long overdue some cleaning. So, I proceeded to take it out and clean it. All good, until I noticed one of the corners of the, what's the right term, mounting plate? The thing that keeps the blower cooler flush with the pcb? Anyways, I notice one of the corners is elevated. Curious, I inspected it to find, to my horror, that the fucking screw had broken off inside it's housing. What the fuck, surely these screws weren't designed to be so brittle, right? . In my panic, I went to unscrew the others. Slowly, one by one. Then another one of the four decided to just fucking pop out. "ok" I think, as my face drains of blood. This is salvageable right? I mean surely it shouldn't make that much of a differ- oh my God it's getting fucking hot.

I need some help guys.😭

OK, so, with the help of a kind internet stranger, I managed to get the broken off screws out using a really sharp rod of metal and an elastic band lol. Thank fuck, one less headache to deal with. Closing.
