I bought this combo last night, and listened for around 5 hours. Sounds amazing and I am rather impressed how well they pair. Another deal came up and need to sell this to fund that.

Great value this! The HD598 is damn near the famous HD600 in terms of sound quality and that GT40 is gem of a DAC / amp. Not much on the interweb but don't let that brother you. My brother had one for many years... You can buy it with confidence and won't be disappointed.
