Description of Bad Deal: Courier risk is on me? But you pack like you are in grade 2 and then trying to be dishonest to claim back from @ichigo. (Also the seller did send me a VN saying that he package it very nicely and be 100% sure it does not get hurt at all)

I bought this system back in January and have not have time to test it yet as I got some financial troubles. So what happened was that the seller send this to me and after they picked it up he send a voice note to me saying that I should not be shocked when I get it because of the way it was packaged because he struggled and the P5's perspex cover did not fit due to the size. He also asked the driver to wrap the parcel. Also saying he did not send with a 1030 that we would have had a look for for me to test it (Said to be a pif) Also did not mention any other GPU that came with at all with the courier.

So my issues to here when I got the parcel it was horrifying. It was not wrapped and nothing of it was safe for any part of the system to be honest.

So when I received this parcel I send the photos to him to witch he said that that is not at all how he packed it but listening to the voice notes of how it was packed it seems correct to me but anyways. He contacted @ichigo complaining about this and claiming for a gtx1050 for some reason I don't know why that's nothing to do with me. Anyway that day I took everything home and stored it since then becuase I did not have a GPU to use the system.

Now that I sold a few personal stuff of min I have enough money to buy a GPU and actually use this I have noticed some other things that is not nice at all. The power supplies bracket is bent. I assume due to courier with the power supply in the bracket. I noticed a hit the case took I assume due to courier I would not know I just know that I don't like this at all. Now after work today I came home and wanted to install the CPU cooler to basically just need to chuck in a GPU and it would be a system. Then I don't see the backplate for the cooler like this (Antec KÜHLER H2O 920 CPU cooler Review - Installation) instead it is literally just the round things and the rest of the bracket is just gone/broken off.

So precisely one month I am still waiting for the cases perspex which wasn't send and also I have not yet used this at all so the seller and me agreed to a refund.
I want my refund before the courier picks this up I don't trust this after the GPU episode

I did indeed pacage the parcell in the correct way in the first place the parcell did not go stright to polokwane as stated on the waybill but was sent to JHB on recieveing the parcel Thorian told me the parcel was open this was strange to me as i knew the items where secure on inspection ( Thorian told me he needed a gpu and I as a gift in secret included a 1050ti gpu) he told me that there was no gpu hence the gpu was missing and indeed stolen.

Now to get to the gpu you whould have to open the parcel hence the pacaging was not as i sent it.

Now after a month he sends me a pm no the case took a knock and the psu bracket is bent i offered sending him a case and he sent me a really rude reply on whatsapp ok so i left it there.Also i sent him the perspex cover as i could not find the time to deliver it myself.

Anyway to the cooler i asked him if the 4 small buttons where there when he recieved the parcel and he said yes and i told him thats how i recieved and moanted the cooler to great effekt he said its okay.

And now he has a issue a month later.

I also said i will refund him after i recieved my items and i dont think thats unfair.( please note i have to recieve damaged goods and i have taken a loss of the gpu aswell)

Its just strange after a month after he said everything is cool now he has problems with everything.
 
From my side, the parcel wasn't closed when the driver arrived, so the sender asked the driver to close it, the driver promised him that he would and he took the parcel to the depo and it was late already, so the parcel was stored as is.

The next day the parcel was not closed and was sent incorrectly to JHB then correctly to PTG.

This is a difficult one, as all parcels that you send are supposed to be closed properly, we live in SA and an open parcel is a temptation.

On the other hand, if the driver had promised to do what he said, there might have been no issues.

I am currently escalating the claim to the national kiosk manager as PTG is saying that the onus is on the sender to ensure that the parcel is securely packaged, yet in this case, the driver and kiosk manager were negligent.

As everyone knows, TCG does not cover any damages to used electronics.

I lodged a claim wrt to the 1050ti, that Cor says he put in the parcel but never arrived.
 
You did say you would look for an old gt1030 and then once I received the parcel like you packed it you said you are claiming for this and this from TCG and also a 1050ti which was never part of a deal.
 
My issue is the VN that you sent and said you will make sure nothing gets damaged you will make sure of that - When it did get damaged and you sold a CPU cooler with a broken back plate.

Why not a month ago claim a refund?

Why now after everything was fine for a month dude and you eaven said i should do your i-trader why now? Why buy it and be happy and then send me a message saying yah but now its suddenly a overpowered system?
 
@Thorian can you confirm that you informed the seller about the condition of the system as soon as it arrived and that you would not be able to test it until you get a gpu ?

I assume you inspected the system because of damaged / improper packaging , why not request a refund immediately ?

I am trying to understand the origin of this :

Why now after everything was fine for a month dude and you eaven said i should do your i-trader why now? Why buy it and be happy and then send me a message saying yah but now its suddenly a overpowered system?

@BeArCrusAdE why could you not seal the parcel properly ?
 
At the risk of getting a ban, I just want to mention that it should never, in any circumstance, be the responsibility of a courier to package, close or secure your goods. It is 100% the responsibility of the seller and it is ridiculous to expect from a courier runner.

@ScorpioMan86 i was bussy pacageing the items when the driver phoned me much earlier that what he allways arrives at Vivo and told me he needs to get the parcel as The LTT Branch wants to close so i told him to wait he then kept sending me please call me messages and asking met to hurry up so i finished pacageing best of my capabilities and met him then i also asked him please just wrap it up to make sure its sealed and save he then neglected to do so. After he gave me his word he will do so.

Also ime going to add this its just strange after my pc failed and i started selling parts that @Thorian started threatning me and started sendi g me more problems with the case and such right after i started doing sales why now why ask for a refund now if he was unhappy since day one?

I even asked him to run the warranty till end of Feb so that I can get a GPU to test it.

I have not have time to check everything yet as I am working away and when I came back I wanted to start building it up and this errors popes up straight away

You knew about the braket as i told you the day you recieved it and i asked you are they there you said yes and i stated thats how you will need to secure the cooler why not then did you say ok i feel this is not shap please refund me.

Why wait a month.

I offered you another case i offered you a refund and you pushed that of the table frankly i feel this is a case of buyers remorse and now you want to get milk from a empty bottle.

No this is because I rather bought something for my father do that hê can work.

I then tried to take the panel myself but ended up shipping it.

Just after my x399 board died and i sent you the whatsapp but never got a reply he then told me if i sell something i should buy the x79 he was verry vriendly all the time (here i saw he needed cash) And its just after i did not that everything escalated.

Then when i started delling things he told me hell open a bad deals thread and i was like what now after a month of happyness then he told me about the case and i said thats all good eaven if its after haveing the case for a month.But i felt bad and offered him a new case he rudely said no.

Then he had a issue with the cooler a month after he said its fine and all good.

So clearly it shows he needs money in my eyes you cant be happy then a month later want to drag my name thru the mud .

I was not against a refund at all i offered it to him and told him ile do it as soon as i have the system as i need to see the extent of the damage and if everything is working 100% like when i shipped it to him.

And here your bullshits starts. There were never any GPU included in a deal. And I am willing to pay to send you for a lie detector test so you can prove this. You said you would look for an gt1030 and I asked you when you courierd you said no you were unable to find it.

My point is I was working away from home and I stored this because have not yet gotten a GPU to test anything yet.

And now going through this I notice this errors. So you want me to pay for damaged items but when we talked about a refund you don't want to pay for damaged items becasue you dont know how to pack a system for courier TCG has a page specifically for this.

I never said no. I said I paid specifically for the P5 not a nzxt what ever model it is. And you selling stuff has nothing to do with me.
You had a warranty on this for a month. I had to wait (I am still waiting for the panel for the case) After a month in witch I did an immediate payment because you wanted the money asap.

And now you have your money and I am stuck with a case with a dent in as well as a bent PSU bracket and a broken GPU bracket which I am sure you new of because that you did yourself.But most of this is thanks to your incompetence to package it correctly.


Accordingly to me your add states a 30 Day warranty so if the parts are not working it is on you because I have not yet used it but I am sure the money you get from your lies at the courier guy will sort it out.

Nice I agree I would have been happy selling it. And when I got home to actually check what is going for what it ended up with a lot more damage and I would not sell this to someone or carb in this condition.

But I see you have bought something from him too

If i may add a quick note, I regularly do deals with Thorian for a long time now. He is rarely at home due to extensive travelling.

My guess is thats probably why he noticed something afyer a month passed
 
Also please show me where you asked if I got a GPU?
After I asked you if a 1030 were send and you said no the only thing I heard of a GPU again was when you wanted to claim from TCG

At the risk of being banned I was in talks with @Thorian about this system and he made no Mention at all to me about the issues above..

Nothing about any missing mounts to the cooler at all. Glad I didn't end up taking it at this point.
 
Installed windows on the 32gb SSD and it pops up showing no bootable devices. I tried all ports. And I also tried my own SSD with no luck so something is not right seller does not want to give me a refund so please sort this out. I am willing to drive halfway to Dendron which would be a lot cheaper that courier if the seller is willing to do this
 
No boot device found is 100% a hdd / config issue.

If it was an issue with motherboard / cpu it wouldn't post

That is basic trouble shooting.

Secondly if you did check everything over like you said you did the Saturday you picked up the parcel you would have seen i sent the wrong drive and again you could have told me hey whats going on.

I would have gladly sent the correct drive as i have 4 drives that look exactly the same but differ in size.

So again i see you did not go over everything like i asked.This all could have been avoided.

And now the gpu bracket is also broken? After you had time to send me pics of the parcel check the things i asked you to...you never noticed a bent psu bracket , broken gpu bracket or damage to the case.

@Thorian I would suggest you send the stuff back to the seller and get your refund.

@BeArCrusAdE I think this will teach you to take more care in future. I would like to see this resolved amicably. ie you get the goods back and @Thorian gets a refund.

On a side note:

So he can arrange a courier to pick up once I have received my funds. I will go buy the correct material other wise he can send me the courier money I will go to Vivo and sort this out.
