I work for a Small MSP with clients across the Greater Cape Town area.
As we are expanding we have need for additional Technicians.
Currently we are looking for people who are happy to work on an hourly basis at a rate to be negotiated based on your skill level. Whilst experience is always preferred we know that this is a field built upon constant learning and so we will consider individuals with little experience but an independent learning streak and a willingness to do research on topics that you are unfamiliar with. Should you bring knowledge to the table that is currently lacking within the company this will count in your favor. Likewise we believe in open communication and should you find yourself out of your depths we try to help each other in whatever ways we can.
There will be room for growth in the company for any chosen candidates with more solid Part Time & Full Time positions becoming available as the business grows.
We would like to be clear that this position is junior in nature, mid level and senior technicians need not apply. That being said here are some hard and fast requirements and some nice to haves that we would not overlook.
Requirements:
Windows Troubleshooting Experience (Being a Power User of your own machine)
Understanding of Basic Network Concepts & Set Up (Terms like IP, DHCP, AP should be familiar to you.)
Own Vehicle
Customer Service Experience (This is arguably the most important skill, our clients value the personal touch we bring to the table and as such any candidates should be approachable and friendly.)
Nice to Have:
Linux Experience
Scripting
Basic M365 Administration
