also samsung SA refuses repairs on imported products(cellphones) , i know of this because they refused a few mates of mines

Some colors have cheaper shipping/customs, I dont know why but they do, I dont think I have the 15% discount code in my cart either so it might be cheaper.
I did end up purchasing local though for the whole warranty story, need a phone to last a couple of years
