So overall the system still plays nicely. I updated the firmware some time ago last year and it now boots up and shows the home screen and then all of a sudden the home screen disappears. Personally I never used this feature as I only used the optical IN paired with my tv. I don't know if you can revert the firmware and if the HDMI port is perhaps faulty, but as mentioned I only use the optical and it does the job. On speaker side of things, the Subwoofer has some small scratches and the one speaker has some scratches as well, luckily you don't notice it much with it being black. The speaker with the scratches used to be at the rear and the cable has taken quite the beating over time with it being under the carpet where people walk over constantly. However, I have mended the cable and there is no issues with the speaker getting signal. The remote still works perfectly and is in very good condition.
