I feel like I need to explain this here, since some people are asking me some strange questions via PM. This is not just a "docking station" for Android phones, Media Players or Apple iPhones and iPods. It also has Bluetooth connectivity, network play via ethernet, USB input and 3.5mm Aux input. I also have a 30 pin to lightning adapter that I have used to connect newer iPods and iPhones without issue. Hopefully this information helps shed some more light on the product.
