Careful w/the OEM's if your wanting to RAID. Samsung did diff f/w for diff OEM's which (from what I read) doesn't play well with RAID if mixed and matched. Try get one that matches your exact one EXACTLY {p/n , m/n , rev, f/w etc) . If you're raiding for speed & not for single volume capacity, I'd HIGHLY recommend going for a 960 M.2 (use the Asus Hyper adaptor if you dont have a 4x M.2 port) as the speeds blow any SATA SSD into the bin.

Thank you very much for this info! I think I'll rather sell this drive then and add a few 100 bucks for the 960 m.2 which in its single form already blows away my raid plans!

I did a quick seach for the Asus Hyper adaptor but I couldnt find it from a local store. Where can I get one? Nevermind! Wootware sells them!
