Asrock have released Beta Bios for their B450 Chipsets, full Ryzen 5000 support!
Things to note:
1) Performance appears to be identical to B550 Chipsets
2) Smart access memory is not supported (AMD have locked this functionality to B550/X570)
3) You will need an older Ryzen Cpu to update (unless your board has a flash button etc)
4) ASRock X470 boards, as of the time of this post, do not have the beta bios avaliable yet, however support is planned.
Is the money saved worth losing out on PCIe Gen4 and SAM? I think so 👍🏻
