Hey peeps. I'm copy-pasting my reddit post as I'm having a issue with my PC atm.
Computer Type: Desktop
GPU: MSI GTX 1060 Gaming X 6G
CPU: Ryzen 5 3600 (Stock)
Motherboard: MSI B450 Tomahawk
RAM: 16GB Crucial Ballistix 2666mhz (2x8Gb
PSU: Some Coolermaster 600W
Operating System & Version: Windows 10
GPU Drivers: Latest (Updated this week)
Chipset Drivers: Latest (Updated this week)
Description of Original Problem: So my PC all of a sudden got a BSOD while playing a game called Squad. The error code is: nvlddmkm.sysR EQUAL
My PC restarted fine afterwards, but as soon as I got into discord all my peripherals, monitor and even the LAN port on the back of the motherboard went off and I had to turn off the PC by the power button.
Now when I try to boot it doesnt post with the CPU light shining on the debug lights?
Troubleshooting: Reseating RAM and GPU, Clearing CMOS
*UPDATE*
I got the PC to boot with 1 RAM stick in, but CPU clocks don't look normal. It is running 100mHz lower than it used to (can this be linked to having 1 RAM stick in now) also the GPU seems to have a terrible coil whine now under load.
Can this potentially by my PSU dying and starting to damage my components?
