Rules to remember about "Bad deals"

We are testing the water with this subforum which is open only to registered members. This means that only the active community has a say in anything that is discussed here.

If you have an experience where a deal did not go well and you and the other party cannot come to some arrangement, then you can list your "bad deal" here for everyone to see and take note when dealing with the "bad party" in future.

What this is not however, is a place to come air all your dirty laundry. We urge you to try and find a way to resolve the issue before coming here and posting about it.

So when do you post here ?

There is no longer a two week waiting period, you may post as soon as you feel you have been wronged.

What not to do?

Do not flame, this is for informational purposes only!
Do not threaten with violence, it might make you feel better but it resolves nothing.
Make sure of your facts, remember that you are dealing with people's reputations here.
Mob does not rule, keep it simple and keep it to the truth.
Personal information should be censored, if someone asks for specific info, you may PM it to them.
Remember the Core Rules!

This then provides a platform for everyone to know about the problem and hopefully in future prevent others from falling into the same trap.

I would just like to add:

Keep this section as a last resort, not first option. You can do permanent damage to someone's reputation whether things turn out alright or not. Sometimes life happens, and an instant reply just isn't an option - try to work things out before starting a thread here.
