In an ideal world many would like to own the Crosshair VIII Hero (Wi-Fi), or even better yet the Crosshair VIII Formula. However, that isn’t the reality we live in and such high priced motherboards are simply not feasible to many. That said, just because these aforementioned boards may be out of reach, it doesn’t mean one can’t enjoy many of the key features they have at a more palatable price. The ROG STRIX X570-E Gaming, despite the lamentable name claims to be one such offering. Think of it as a Crosshair VIII Hero (Wi-Fi), with a number of things removed or changed. Surprisingly, what has been done away with leaves much of the motherboard intact and that means you get all the ROG ‘exclusive’ features. Perhaps not in their full glory, but flashed out enough to make it worth your while.
