Hey awesome fellow Carbies,

Need some next level help with this please.

So as the title says, I have a very important PST file that got corrupted. Not sure what my client did, but the pst file was completely missing from the computer. Had to do data recovery on the drive to actually retrieve a few "recovered" pst's.

I have about 5 of the PST files which were recovered, each about 4.15GB in size, meaning it should have sufficient data stored in there and it is quite important emails. We talking a court case which is becoming quite a headache for the client.

Anyone have any idea of some sort of software to extract the mails? I've tried a few of the ones on Google, but only managed to extract like 20 mails. I've obviously made backups of the recovered PST's so I can play around with them.

Thanks

I encountered mass PST corruption a while back on ingesting in to O365 - justified purchasing this to business at the time.

It actually worked amazingly. Not a 100% recovery rate - but close enough.

Perhaps download the free version - run it against the PST - I believe it gives you a preview on the free version - a preview of what can be recovered. Might provide justification for a purchase.

Thanks, trying it right now

Kdetools OST to PST will allow you to view the the corrupt PST and export certain mails, no root folders unfortunately.

Its a tedious process but least allows for some form of recovery.

Seems like Stellar is working great. Already at 9000+ mails recovered and still running... Thanks so much @Qui_Illustrati
Happy to hear :) Now you can breathe a sigh of relief - don't forget to charge your client an exorbitant fee for your troubles :D

The free version is allowing recovery and not just preview?

Took me 324 hrs @ R320 per hour to recover all these mails, plus I had to go for trauma counseling @ R2500 for the 7 sessions, plus I had to drive to 16 different data recovery experts @ R5 per km x 400km's... PROFIT!!!!!:LOL:

No it only provides the preview, so I have to purchase the license to actually recover it to a new pst.
