My views

True to word every aspect of this game is incredible from puzzle solving to stage design and it gives my 1080ti a nice workout !

Ammo very vital use it sparingly as zombies and other enemies need more then 4 bullets to die
Only store stuff which can be used for survival or else your slots get filled with useless things extremely fast
Plenty gore scenes so be prepared there are also quite a few horrific shockers which either you will shit your pants or fall off your chair which ever comes first

Best survival Horror game i have played since the original RE 1 - 3, Call of cthulu Dark corner of the earth etc. Its scary and tense. like the fact that you have limited amo even save ribbons to save your progress. Graphics is tops.

This save game system is easier than the original, back then you needed to have enough type writer ribbons to save. None of this clear out an area of all pick ups and then save, back then you had limited saves

Well, its actually the same as the original or im not sure if the type writer ribbons are only for hard difficulty. i currently play on hard and you only get a few ribbons and have to be extra careful on when to use it. I am currently out of ribbons which adds massive tense to the whole experience just like the original. This is what made the originals so damn good and frighting, the fact that its dark and scary already, you only get limited amo and saving ribbons. Have to be careful when shooting.

I love every aspect of the game.

Ja no I'm playing this on standard difficulty, playing with headphones makes a little bit of pee come out at every scare, which is often, plus I'm not good at ammo management so I dont think I would last on hard.
About 3 hours in and my tactic is headshot and run pass. I didn't even kill the first licker I came across, just shotgun and run away like a lil bitch boi

This game looks extremely good on ultra and is so well optimized, really loving it. If only all games came out this optimized.

Does any one know how to kill Mr. X? that mother f*cker is terrifying. Its difficult trying to complete the objectives solving puzzles with him on your tail. Head shots knocks him out for few seconds, however, he just seem to return.

Can't be killed.
Can be knocked down to one knee and can be staggered but not worth it. Conserve your ammo and just move around him. Alternatively flash him and just run past.

I finished my Leon Hardcore playthrough this weekend after finishing the Claire campaign last week.
It's an excellent game, nostalgic but fresh. Fans of the old game will love it and anyone looking for a solid survival horror game should consider this.

So i finished the first play through with Leon on hard difficulty. Just started with the second play through with Clair on normal difficulty and i still shit myself when i encounter Mr. X.

A tip to make the experience even more horrifying, if you have the Deluxe edition, enable the original RE 2 sound for the game. Gives a whole new horrifying tension and vibe to the game.
