This is a fully remote position for the American time zone. You will start at 3 PM and work till 12 PM
Please send all CVs to evert@neuronext.tech, or if you have any questions, drop me a chat, and I will answer what I can.
This position pays around R10 000 to R15 000 (not confirmed yet)
You will be on payroll, meaning your taxes and UIF will be sorted by the local company, and you will be paid in Rands. There is a locked ROE (rate of exchange), but it gets adjusted if the shift is more than 20% above or below. So if the rand weakens against the dollar enough, it will be re-adjusted. So far, with the rand strength, we did not do much adjusting. You will have clear info on your salary, not like HireXe or Scaled.
Before you read the job description:
*A Webcam is required (this is for Teams; we are on a call the entire day. It's not to monitor your work, but a workspace where you get to ask questions, have discussions, and problem-solve together and shoot the shit)
*Stable and reliable internet line (I would suggest fiber and a backup LTE for when the fiber goes down)
*Battery backup system (or some sort of way to stay powered on when the power goes out)
*A laptop or Desktop.
*You will need to use your mobile phone or have a good quality mic and headset for your computer for a couple of weeks to answer incoming calls, but we will send you a VoIP phone to use within the second month (if you are in the Boksburg area, this will be a shorter period)
We are looking for a friendly, well-spoken Receptionist to be the first point of contact for our clients. You'll manage our incoming calls, keep our support ticketing system running smoothly, and help our leads stay on top of client scheduling. It's a role with real variety day-to-day and genuine room to grow; this position can develop into a Project Management role for the right person.
What You'll Be Doing
Answering incoming calls with a warm, professional, and happy tone, every caller should feel well looked after
Logging calls into tickets using our ops dashboard (simple, click-of-a-button process) or directing the caller to the right person/team
Monitoring the text and email support lines, converting messages into tickets and flagging new tickets to the relevant leads
Assisting with client scheduling: calling clients to confirm appointment dates and times, and rearranging bookings when clients are running late or need to reschedule
Keeping accurate, clear notes so nothing falls through the cracks
What We're Looking For
Clear, professional English communication, both spoken and written
A good telephone manner with a neutral/easily understood English accent
A naturally friendly, upbeat, and positive demeanor; callers should notice it
Comfortable multitasking between calls, tickets, emails, and texts
Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented
Willingness to learn; this is a role most people can be trained into
Nice to Have (Not Required)
Previous experience working at an MSP (Managed Service Provider)
General tech/IT knowledge or interest
Experience with helpdesk/ticketing systems
Growth Path
This is an entry-level role by design, but it's a genuine foot in the door. Strong performers have a clear path toward a Project Management role within the company.
