So is there any recommendations for an app that makes a secure vpn tunnel to a specific server. So we basically want remote sites to VPN to 1 server securely without providing the sites with any physical equipment. Anyone know of any such tools or has worked with such an tool?

Thanks in advance

We deployed TailScale in October between our JHB and UK sites and it's been performing exceptionally well with zero effort. Worth looking at, otherwise Wireguard between the two sites is also a good alternative, if you're keen to put the work in.

I think you need to expand on your use case a bit.
Are those sites accessing internal resources?
Is it for communication with some software?
Are the sites allowed to communicate with each other?
Implementing only in software, can the site’s hardware handle the overhead of a VPN?

Not sure if this will help. It needs to connect the user to our internal network. Meaning they need to be connected to our IP range for them to be able to use apps that we designed for stock lookups ect and also for using the servers.

Another nice setup is to put a Mikrotik router on the remote site and let it make a VPN connection to the remote server. That way all devices on the Mikrotik's wifi and network can automatically be routed to the specific server
