Question, and please bear in mind that I know nothing about this topic, what would you be able to power with this monster and for how long? I used to have an inverter + deep cycle battery setup that a friend built for me years ago when load shedding got really bad around 2010 or so but it has since passed on to greener pastures.

Would this run a gaming notebook for a couple of hours?

Can't give an exact health/performance report. They are about 2y old & still hold their charge as they should. Physically they look new but that doesn't reflect perormance obviously.

For smaller power draw stuff it'll last hours, if you running 1000w through it constantly it might keep that up for 2-4hours but also don't quote me on that as I haven't been able to drain it flat. So this is just ballpark estimations.

Does this thing beep while on backup mode?

If I remember correctly it did beep, but not sure if it was in backup mode, it was when it couldn't start taking a charge & so swapped the chassis itself out.
