Anyone know whether a US bought Razer Phone 2 (unlocked) will work perfectly fine in SA?

I've read and heard that some phones might have issued with the network (4G) due to the frequency of the network operating in SA.
Hopeful this is a story of the past.

I would talk to this guy (see link below), looks like he has the Razer 2 Phone. I have the first one and I have no issues with the network.
