Hi
I have a Asus P Z77 m motherboard with a core i7 3770 overclocked to 4.1ghz at 1.168v offset mode.Rndomly Ill boot up my PC and it will display the megatrends screen and asks me to press F1 to load defaults.After I do this I have load my OC profile again.My OC is stable and I can run Prime 95 for hours without any errors or BSODS.

Whats going on? Is it the CMOS battery or is my mobo on its way out?

If changing the battery doesn't fix the problem, check the following;
1. Update BIOS
2. Check for any damaged CPU socket pins (I once had a board with 1 pin that wasn't making contact, it didn't even look bent, but when I lifted it slightly up then all my RAM slots worked properly)

Also, just to confirm, you are overclocking a 3770K and not a 3770 non-K (Yes it is possible to OC by increasing the BCLK, but it is very UNSTABLE)

I am overclocking a 3770 non k.Ive increased the multiplier to 41 wich is far as it will go.I used to run at 4,4ghz with a BCLK of 107.5.
But now its only at 4,1 with no BCLK adjustments.This started recently though about 2 weeks earlier
